The Chinoike Clan (血之池一族, Chinoike Ichizoku) is a noble and aristocratic clan that once lived in the hidden cloud but since their banishment and relocation to Kiri, the clan has rebuilt their entire bloodline to full strength, dedicating their very existence to survive and evolve into a clan of swordsmen, sworn by the sword.
Appearance & Traits[]
The Chinoike members before their second ascension from extinction, all members possess blonde hair, fair olive skin, and violet eyes that seem to genetically be passed down throughout their generations, small eyebrows as a sign of nobility in the country they once lived and exiled to Land of Hot Water. Through genetic engineering, the clan was restored from near extinction with the help of Chino carrying her children to full term and her father, En Oyashiro, who chose several wives to carry on the Chinoike legacy. The generations that followed up to the current era retained the telltale characteristics of their ancestors with some alterations and variations, blonde to honey blonde hair, fair olive skin, and variation of violet colored eyes.
Abilities[]
During the warring era, the Chinoike Clan won fame and recognition from Daimyo from the Land of Lightning for their unique fighting skills and genjutsu. By assassinating, bombing with Exploding Human and other malicious methods, framing others for the crime, and sacrificing many other people through the use of genjutsu's so they can commit the deed, they eventually ascended to greatness in their country, but eventually fate bit back in the form of the Daimyo's other wife, which resulted in their banishment and infighting that nearly ended the bloodline of the clan leaving only two surviving members. Through their two descendants Chino and En Oyashiro, the two shown to be quite an aptitude for any combat-oriented situation like their rival the Uchiha Clan who were bred for all manner of warfare both clan's advanced growth rate that seems unnatural compared to other clans throughout history, adaptive reflexes, and cunning minds. The strong, potent chakra in their bodies and their life force allows them to age differently as well as a few other clans blessed with this gene. Each Chinoike is extremely proficient at the water nature transformation, while others have gained such a wealth of knowledge and skill that they can perform water release techniques with only one hand seal or none at all, a rare sight in comparison to Hashirama Senju's glory day. The Chinoike have also used tools directly tied to the infamous Jashin Cult and various other culture-made weapons to perform agile, precise, and cuts into the opponent.
Juinjutsu[]
The Chinoike Clan has conducted in experiments using juinjutsu on convicts who have betrayed their nations, using curse marks to uncover many mysteries that have been lost over the centuries but each experiment was a failure, missing a key component in creating a perfect Juinjutsu. After the tectonic plates settled life began to evolve and become hospitable for humanity to thrive, the Chinoike Clan continued conducting their malicious experiments on convicts.
Dōjutsu[]
The Chinoike are famous for their Ketsuryūgan, a dōjutsu that, when active, makes their eyes appear blood-red. The Ketsuryūgan allows them to perform powerful genjutsu, of comparable strength to the Uchiha clan's Sharingan. They can also use the Ketsuryūgan to manipulate liquids that have high iron contents, such as blood or the water that naturally flows in the Valley of Hell. Before they can manipulate such liquids, it is necessary that they imbue it with their own chakra.
