The Colorless Canvas Arts (色のないキャンバスアート, Iro no nai kyanbasu āto) is a deriviable form of the matured Canvas Arts, like Tentai's Black Canvas Arts, using the Eight Trigrams Sealing Style as the foundation, which can be bestowed from a user of the matured form of the canvas art to a new person allowing them to take on a usual empty form of seal which possesses lack of knowledge or limited knowledges.

Overview[]

The Colorless Canvas Art Jutsu is a sophisticated technique designed to manage and transfer vast amounts of knowledge. This jutsu involves creating a metaphysical "canvas" that serves as a repository for collected information and experiences. The jutsu enables the user to gather and store knowledge, experiences, and consciousness in a unique "canvas" form. This canvas functions as a dynamic repository that evolves as data accumulates. Each piece of information stored on the canvas becomes part of the user's distinctive mark, reflecting their individual experiences and understanding. When knowledge is transferred from the Colorless Canvas Art, it is similar to moving files from a flash drive to a laptop. The information is no longer present on the canvas once it has been transferred, allowing for the complete removal of specific knowledge from the original source, much like erasing files from the flash drive after they have been copied to a new device.

There can be exceptions to this, such as when a successor receives the entire body of knowledge from a predecessor. In such cases, the transfer is limited by the predecessor's role as an inhabitant of the canvas. This limitation ensures that the transfer of knowledge does not overwhelm the successor and is carefully managed to maintain balance and coherence.

Example[]

In the context of Otaru, the Colorless Canvas Art Jutsu functions behind a protective gate. Although Otaru has access to the selective limited repository of knowledge collected by Tentai, the canvas is intentionally left "colorless" and restricted to prevent Otaru from being overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information before he is ready to handle it. The colorless state acts as a dam, preserving the integrity and manageability of the knowledge until Otaru is prepared to fully integrate it. Tentai, the original collector of the knowledge, temporarily stores a fragment of his consciousness within the canvas to safeguard the information. While Tentai does not retain the transferred knowledge directly, he can re-access and re-store it as needed, essentially updating the canvas with new insights and experiences.

Trivia[]

  • In a way, it is similar to the concept behind the Cortical Stack from Altered Carbon, in that it involves preserving and recording memories within a device.
  • It is based on the principle that Minato sealed sentient copies of Kushina and Minato’s chakra within their child, Naruto, in order to converse with him when it was time. Each sentient copies had their own set of memories which aren't connected to the original, provided that the original Minato didn't know that Naruto met Kushina's chakra.
