Darkness Release: Nocturne Snare is a specialized Genjutsu created by the founder of the Yamishi Clan Takoda; currently used by Gabimaru Yamishi, the prominent shinobi of this vampiric Clan.

With the user of Darkness or shadows as a medium, the users casts and molds their chakra into the medium allowing them to penetrate the minds of those they wish to target by molding and utilizing darkness or shadows into a dome like formation around the target. By doing so, the users chakra is forced inside the target; allowing them to penetrate and pierce the deepest and most hidden parts of their minds before alas forcing them to succumb to such horrendous imagery. A genjutsu that forces a target to witness their own death in various and unnatural ways, each death being different but ending with the loop starting over until the Genjutsu is broken. To fully negate this Technique a target will need to destroy the dome with a source of light.
