This technique allows Isamu to put his opponent within a genjutsu by using either direct skin, eye contact, and/or by other any of the remaining five senses. Not altering the environment, Isamu would cause the opponent to become a victim of Dyscalculia, a neurological disability affecting one’s ability to understand, remember, or manipulate numbers or number facts and/or an inability to conceptualize numbers as abstract concepts of comparative quantities. Because of this disability, the opponent will have a false perception of time and will not be able to react in a timely manner from Isamu's physical or ninjutsu techniques. Though in the genjutsu, the opponent will believe they effectively dodged the technique, but will soon break out of the genjutsu due to the infliction of pain, when they are indeed were struck.
