The Earth Release: Deep Terrain Submergence Technique is activated by molding Doton chakra into the surface allowing the user of this technique to slip into physical material. This includes earthen material and beyond the scope of worldly contents. Once the user is fully submerge they are impossible to accurately track, as a result of becoming one with the entirety of the terrain itself. Therefore the user is not susceptible to direct attacks causing opponents to strike the environment itself. When the environment is struck and pieces destroyed, the user does not suffer the damage; however if the entirety of the terrain is annihilated so too would the jutsu caster. With the user chakra being infused within the environment their chakra would continue serve to sustain it, resulting in the environment to be rebuilt as fast as it had been destroyed. As a result of becoming apart of the environment, the user can partially arise from it bearing its properties - crystal, gold, steel or even diamond. Using the characteristics of the environment on themselves grants the user a great tactical advantage, as well as shifting the properties of the terrain in certain locations with its materials instantly. The user could alter their body's shape to a great degree, being able to sculpt themselves upon the surface to face enemies or generate legs and arms to strike or grasp a target. The user could also grow and shift appearance for a variety of reasons.
