The Tomogui Netsu (共食い熱, Cannibal Fever) is a dreadfully sinister Earth Release jutsu created by Keres Tomogui, the First Wendigo and the cursed progenitor of the Tomogui Clan. This malevolent jutsu allows the user to release a vile and invisible substance into the environment, which, when inhaled by the victim, initiates the dreaded Fever.

Overview[]

The jutsu is activated by channeling chakra into the earth, imbuing it with a grotesque, corrupting energy that poisons the very air. The user can then control the dissemination of this substance, releasing it strategically to ensnare their chosen target. The released substance often takes the form of a noxious, dark mist or an eerie, unnatural haze that clings to the surroundings. Once inhaled, the victim becomes afflicted with the Fever, a dreadful ailment that mirrors the clan's insatiable hunger and bestial transformations. The symptoms of Wendigo Fever include an unrelenting craving for flesh, a gradual and agonizing wasting away of the body, and increasingly vivid hallucinations and nightmares. The victim's sanity deteriorates as their humanity wanes, forcing them to embrace the curse that plagues the Tomogui Clan. The potency of this jutsu lies not only in its physical effects but also in its psychological torment. The afflicted victim is driven to madness by the intense hunger and nightmarish visions, ultimately forcing them to submit to their base instincts. Wendigo Fever Infliction is a testament to the malevolent power of the Tomogui Clan's curse, a symbol of their connection to the ancient wendigo mythos. The jutsu, devised by Keres Tomogui herself, serves as a terrifying reminder of the darkness that can be unleashed by the cursed bloodline, and its use is not undertaken lightly, as it condemns the victim to a fate both horrific and irreversible.

Trivia[]
