The Fire Demon Purgatory Possession (火鬼煉獄 所持, "Hi Oni no Rengokushoji", English TV; "Blood Ogre Bewitching of the Fire Spirit", Viz; "Rage Mode", Other; "Red Demon Transformation") is the initial jinchuriki form that Suzaku enters when tapping into the Son Goku's chakra. Suzaku's sclera also becomes red giving him a demonic like appearance. He is surrounded by a layer of red, wispy chakra granting them enhanced strength, speed and healing. The beast's chakra supplements Suzaku and is able to manipulate the chakra to a certain extent: Suzaku can create shockwaves of heat causing massive destruction and strokes of heat simultaneously.
