Osabi (lit. 筬火 "A Guide For Yarn on a Loom Fire") draws inspiration from the legend of two ghostly fireballs that appeared side by side on rainy nights at a pond in the Land of Demons. According to the tale, two women quarreled over a borrowed osa (a guide for yarn on a loom) and fell into the pond, where their unresolved conflict manifested as eerie flames still said to haunt the waters. Misfortune is believed to follow those who witness the fire, while those who master it gain an extraordinary resilience against enemy flames.
Upon forming the Dog and Tiger seals, the user conjures two blazing fireballs that orbit their body, providing a formidable shield. These spheres not only absorb any flame they encounter but also draw in the ambient heat from their surroundings, growing stronger and more potent in hotter environments. The greater the heat, the longer the spheres remain active, intensifying their protective power. Additionally, the user can launch these fireballs to seek out and attack specific thermal signals, homing in on their targets with deadly precision. Once they make contact, the target is engulfed in a fierce blaze, ultimately reduced to charred remains.
