Hasshōdō (八正道) is an energy sphere with a rapidly vibrating core that builds and siphons kinetic energy from the space around it while retaining a tremendously dense shape in order to mask its otherwise enormous volume. Despite holding a large amount of chakra and possessing a considerable mass, the orb is swift and distinctly violent.
Overview[]
Heiwa claims that this spherical attack is the answer to all regenerative abilities, sighting its meticulous power to impair the immune system through immune-amnesia. Any portion of the body struck by the attack has the immune-amnesia effects in place and as such the person would thereafter "forget" how to heal unless "taught" again. This would include their body's knowledge and experience on dealing with toxins, pathogens, bacteria, poisons and things alike. Such an intense volume of chakra vibrating at a constant rate incinerates a person on the molecular level, turning their bio-molecules into even smaller
particles.
The sphere is quick to generate and launch; it's composition allows it to be shot on-the-spot from one's hand(s), mouth or chakra source without the use of any hand signs with speed rivaling even the quickest of movement and with enough power to saw through energy constructs. Once the sphere is formed it retains its shape, rotation and vibration without prompt from the caster. Similarly to a certain technique, the Hasshōdō can be caused to discriminate its targets in order to damage the internal systems of the body as opposed to eradicating the entirety of a person.
Being the product of Chemical Release makes Hasshōdō an incredibly costly techniques. Even still, Heiwa has shown while using the Medicine Temple—Eight Cure Healing Approach Technique the ability to fire multiple spheres simultaneously in a barrage. The orbs travel so quickly that they sometimes morph in shape through transit and, whether solitary of in a group, expand in a controlled eradication of the space around it. Though it is seldom done, it is also apparently possible to use Chakra Flow in order to transmit the properties of Hasshōdō through weapons, passing on the destructive properties and the amnesia effects.

Refinement[]
Senjutsu Version[]
As if it weren't already difficult to construct, the Hasshōdō has found improvement through the use of Senjutsu. When under the influence of nature energy it is known as Sage Technique: Hasshōdō (仙術・八正道, Senjutsu: Hasshōdō, English TV: Sage Art: Hasshōdō, Literally meaning: Sage Technique: Noble Eightfold Path). Not much changes other than a boost in destructive power, speed and overall effectiveness. One also gains the ability to create more than one of them with the same strength but at a lesser chakra cost.

Trivia[]
- Drawing inspiration from Buddhist etymology, this jutsu is named after the noble eightfold path which is said to be the Buddha’s practical instructions to reach the end of suffering. It is suggested that because of the power therein the technique possesses the ability to end all suffering by killing the opponent.
- The eight path's include: right views, intention, speech, action, livelihood, effort, mindfulness, and concentration.
- Although entirely different in mechanics, this technique takes inspiration from the Rasengan and its many iterations as well as the fact that it has been passed down throughout generations despite being difficult to master.
