The Kaihōgyō Sash (帯の回峰行, "Obi no Kaihōgyō", English TV; "Sash of Circling the Mountain") is an ancient artifact of Monkey Island that is part of the Exalted Hermit Treasures (尊仙宝, "Mikotosentakara") is group of 4 sacred items protected by the Sages or Monkey Island.
Overview[]
Imbued with magical properties, this material acts to do the bidding of the one whom it deems its master. The Kaihōgyō Sash is fire-red, 7 feet in length and is covered is golden dragon like markings. It has the ability to change in length, bind its enemies, and even regenerate if cut, all by its own will. Unlike many other binding tools its grip strength won't be able to crush someone to death or break bones, but it's said that once it has hold it will not let go. The Kaihōgyō Sash has a unique trait that allows it to interrupt the flow of chakra in relation to Space Time Techniques making anyone caught by it unable to use said techniques.

- The tool draws inspiration from the Red Armillary Sash (混天绫, Hùn Tiān Líng) of Chinese mythology which belonged to Nezha who used it to kill the third son of the Dragon King of the East Sea, named Ao Bing.
