Background[]

Kazuma was born in Sunagakure to a family of four. His father however was originally born in the Leaf District. Though his father’s side of the family was Uchiha, they possessed extremely weak prowess in the Sharingan. His father Seiyugi and his aunt Sanami had traveled away from his kin in his youth to the Iron District in hopes of improving their swordsmanship and Techniques. Seiyugi and Kazuma’s mother Miriya were rivals when they first met, as they fought over every little thing, and constantly challenged each other to duels. Miriya was an orphan as far as the others had known, rescued from the Mercenaries by their sensei Shinji who had been her honorary caretaker afterwards. Miri showed natural talent when it came to taijutsu and kenjutsu, during her teenage years it was also discovered that she had a gift for fuinjutsu as well. Only when Miri’s chakra ability to force her chakra into objects and manipulate them, and produce adamantine chains surfaced did they realize that she was of the Uzumaki. Sei and Nami eventually began to travel back and forth to the Leaf District to visit their sickly father. Venting his fear of losing his father to Miri helped them see each other as something more than rivals. Eventually, their rivalry sprouted into friendship. Sei awakened his Sharingan by the time his father passed away.

Afterward, Miri and Sei announced their love for each other and decided to move to the Leaf District as the pain of losing his father still plagued him. His sister married and moved to the Sand District as she felt no attachment to the place where she was born. Shortly after Kazuma and his twin brother Kaizen were born. Kazuma however had very poor eyesight, by the time he was three he had gone completely blind. Growing up he disliked being pitied by his family, his aunt was the exception to this however, she had no sympathy or pity for him. She’d often say it didn't matter, the world was shit whether you could see it or not, you still know you're stepping in it. Heavily relying on his other senses however, Kazuma was able to compete with his brother in both taijutsu and kenjutsu, ninjutsu he often fell short. Sei and Miri often visited a shrine where a dear friend of theirs lived. A priestess named Kazuya shared a close elderly sister bond with Kazuma. He often took extra training from her along with two other children named Namiko, and Kaminari who had lived there with her. On occasion, she would watch over Kaizen and Kazuma while their parents went on dangerous missions and their aunt was too busy. At the age of 12 Kazuma began utilizing puppets in battle after learning from his aunt and crafting his first set with her. In his training, he was adept in using a combination of kenjutsu and his mother's chakra ability that he’d inherited to make up for his lack of skill in puppeteering. He and Namiko were both naturally skilled in manipulating chakras by that age. He would often use his limited knowledge of chakra control to amp his chakra and release it in waves around himself as a sort of chakra sensory sonar.

It became clear that Namiko and Kazuma also shared a common interest in fuinjutsu, as well as a skill for it. They discovered the 13-month series of weapons that Kazuya held in her possession. After trying to reproduce the jutsu that was used for the sentient weapons, three years later both of them managed to create their unique fuinjutsu. Namiko’s God Eye seal and Kazuma’s Sage Ranimation seal were shown to Kazuya in their crude stages. She was extremely against the use of these abilities but they still practiced them in secrecy. Kazuma developed a total of ten combat puppets. The first nine souls that inhabited the puppets got along well with him, both the tenth always gave him trouble with controlling. Eventually, the tenth rebelled against Kazuma, possessing his left arm with a curse. He kept it secret, afraid to tell his parents or Kazuya, the curse festered until he severed his arm. The tenth puppet used amputated flesh in its constructed new design, fueling its chakra network with senjutsu and draining the chakra from living things. Both of his parents fell prey to the tenth and were killed by it before vanishing. In the aftermath of the event, Kazuma fled, unable to face the remainder of his family, friends, or sensei becoming a missing nin. Once he was found again his aunt became his primary caretaker in the Sand District.

Fueled with self resentment Kazuma vowed to find his creation and destroy it before it could fall into the hands, or destroy another family. He began to take his training to the next step, pushing himself under the guidance of his aunt to reach his new goal. Properly honing his puppet and kenjutsu skills the best he could, as well as starting his study of fuinjutsu from its base foundations again. Instead of taking more risk with the Sage reanimation jutsu, he’d just focus on its first application of being a conduit that he could seal and distribute his own chakra through. After reuniting with his childhood friends Namiko & Kaminari, as well as Kazuya, Kazuma confessed the story of what happened that day with his parents and was surprised at the support and acceptance he felt from those he cared about most and had terrorized himself by expecting them to reject his apology and him by extension. Kazuya decided to gift Kazuma the 13-month series of weapons as a gift to help him right the wrongs that he had made and charged him with finding his brother. Along with his two friends he set out to recruit members to his organization/clan known as the Toro Clan with the hope of finding individuals worth wielding the weapons entrusted to him and finding info on Jyuu his tenth puppet to deal with it once and for all.

Kazuma has very noticable long indigo hair with streaks of silver that spreads throught his hair as his chakra dwindles. His eyes tend to change color depending on the time of day. Usually being a bright green-ish blue in the day time and dark violent by dusk. This is a feature he tends to be embarrased of and sometimes wears a blind fold, or his headband over his eyes. However, this is also for comfortability since in the past he grew quite use to not using his sight. His skin a deep mocha complexion from his father, whose mother was from the cloud district. His typical fashion consists of baggy gray or black hoodies with a myriad of different decorative patches, light breathable pants that are comfortable in the desert, and laceless mesh shoes that are both waterproof and light weight. He also has a more ceremonial garb that consists of brilliant blue and gold silk robes with bits of armor included in various places such as his shoulders. 173312669158229041

Personality[]

When he is in a neutral mood Kazuma is kind, reliable, and self-sufficient, adjusting with ease to work with teammates. Flexible in a task, Kazuma focuses on the problems at hand, fixing them with step-by-step goals. Being a perfectionist, he likes to eliminate as many threats to his mission as possible. Rather than being carefree and letting something continue to bug him, he moves bluntly to stop the annoyance. Kazuma often relies heavily on logic and intellect. But his intuition is his guiding light. He works hard to understand others' feelings and has a strong sense of empathy. He is also a bit of a pervert and flirtatious once he gains familiarity with a person he's interested in.

Kazuma has an insatiable curiosity, thinking about things past the normal extent most would. His inquisitive mind helps balance pondering about several things at once and looking for the answers. He normally does not get upset unless he is pushed to his mental limits by something such as extreme lack of sleep, lack of food, pushing his buttons when he isn't in a playful mood, mocking him, teasing or talking down on the ones he cares about, hurting them, or causing him intense physical pain. When he is enraged, his attention span gets shorter, he gets hard-headed, bold, less polite, unable to restrain himself, impatient, reckless, and highly defensive to verbal phrases. Things that cause him to be overly upset are overwhelming loneliness, grieving, when he loses something, emotional stress, failure, witnessing someone else's misery, or emotional distress and not being able to help.

Intelligence[]

Kazuma's use of his natural quick wit and intellect makes his way of thinking and gathering knowledge formidable in both socially and on the battlefield. His curious mind constantly and instinctively works to find solutions to problems as they are presented to him, and as he has never been one to quit at challenge his level of intelligence excels with every knew issue presented to him. His need to understand coupled with his creative outlook helps him not only analyze the foundation of things but reimagine a new way for them to work unbound by previously assumed limitations. Though his mind is able to compute things on a deep level, his brilliance is exercised also by extending his awareness through his other senses as well. Kazuma's level of battle field awareness often allows him to stay a step ahead of his opponents.

Sensory[]

Kazu's senses are fine-tuned like that of a well-played musical instrument capable of picking up on subtle details much like instruments themselves resonate a soft melody in the hands of an expert. Due to his early life disposition of being blind, he found himself depending on his other senses besides his sight. With his heightened awareness his sensory skills were pushed to the brink of his limitations, allowing him to not only be quite adept at analyzing chakra signatures, but being able to identify natural energy, and foreign objects within the field of his chakra sense. While his other four senses are beyond that of the average individual his use of what he calls chakra sense is whats carried him so far. Thanks to his genius level of chakra control he is able to maintain a boundary of sensory chakra around himself that he can refocus in between attacks at extremely rapid speeds.

Kenjutsu[]

Nin - Kenjutsu Sword Arts: Taking inspiration from shinobi of old, as well as powerful swordmasters Kazuma has developed his style of swordplay mixing chakra and sword forms in a combination known as Nin - Kenjutsu. By utilizing several techniques in combination he's able to enhance the capabilities of both in a unique way. His preferred styles include a mix of lightning style, water style, darkness style, and his Doujutsu abilities. Like Jutsu, his sword arts require a method of molding. Some can require hand signs but most require a stance to activate the use of, as unsure footing can throw off the technique and sloppy execution can lead to failure to activate properly. Kazuma’s sword style is based on one of the nine schools of Bujinkan, known as Kumogakure Ryu Ninpo. This style of martial arts incorporates the unseen and non-violent nature of martial arts, focusing mostly on suppression and takedowns. Chakra Zone paired with the sword arts to make them even more effective. By focusing their chakra and containing it to similar restrainments as Seikuken the user can exert chakra into the designated zone and mold it within the area by use of stances to produce jutsu originating from anywhere inside that zone.

  • Chakra Storage Seal: By focusing the chakra into the seal, the user can force the seal to soak up and store the chakra imbued within it for long durations of time. If the item on which the seal is placed is destroyed the chakra will be immediately released. Though the seal can be reused for lifetimes, it is not recommended to store more than what one's body can handle with the seal and release it back into one's self as such a thing would cause death.

  • Chakra Pill Seal: The chakra pill seal utilizes Kazu’s standard storage seal and stores a chakra nature inside of it. Upon activation the food pill with the seal brims with whichever elemental release seal was placed on it. Upon ingestion the food pill releases chakra of the stored nature throughout the body, imbuing the body with traits of that nature as well as boosting the power of the corresponding nature release.

  • Chakra Body Binding Seal: Despite its name, this fuinjutsu is not only able to temporarily bind a person, but unleash a devastating trap upon the bound foe. The sealing jutsu works by establishing two to five anchors to link together. The more ankers there are the more damage the trap does, as well as the bigger and more unique the shape of the affected area can be. The target is bound at a point between the ankers after they trigger the seal that must be meticulously placed. Once said target is bound, the seal drains part of their chakra to fuel an explosive blast that can be weaponized with whatever nature they or the person who formed the seal has. The range of the attack is limited only to the boundary traced between the anchor points. The Anchor points can be anything from objects, to people, or clones even but all must have the seal.
