Kenjutsu (剣術, literally meaning: Sword Technique) is category for any type of technique that involves the use of a sword be it by Samurai or Shinobi. It is considered a subcategory of Bukijutsu and has been shown to be able to be used in combination with many other jutsu types. The other types are things such as Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Fūinjutsu, Chakra Flow etc. While shinobi villages have been known to have their own Kenjutsu Techniques and Styles the most common users of this are the Samurai of the Land of Iron.
