The Sash of Subjugation (帯の討伐, "Obi no Tōbatsu", English TV; "Suppression Cloth") is an ancient artifact of the Fire Acolytes. It was discovered in the ruins many centuries ago. Legend states that the cloth was once used as a method of torture—since then it has become a valuable tool around the waist of Suzaku.
Overview[]
Imbued with magical properties, this material acts to do the bidding of the one whom it deems its master. In ancient times victims would be wrapped up in it skin tight, suffocated to near death and released; the process was repeated over and over again. In present times the cloth is wore around ones waist. It can be commanded to warp around an individual to protect them from harm—it is immensely durable and can withstand incredible damage. A testament to this is the fact that it has existed for over 600 years and shows no sign of wear or tear. Fire, chakra blasts, blade slices and the like will more than likely do no damage to such an incredible material. Should the need arise one could use the cloth to attack by tightly wrapping up the opponent to immobilize, crush or suffocate them.
