Background[]
Born into the Uzumaki Clan's Legendary Ketsugo Uzumaki as his eldest child she saw first hand her Father in his youth and it was a sight to behold - being raised primarily in Uzushiogakure and her Father she lead a sheltered life secluded away by most children her age, Sumiko very rarely had a chance to play and experience true childhood as she wished to train by her Father's side at the early age of 6, having developed an advanced aptitude to fuinjutsu like her father in deciphering and creating she was destined for greatness.
During the ages of 14, Sumiko had found her Father's signature Chidekakuyari (Lit.血で書く槍; The Spear that Writes in Both Blood and Ink), with a swish of her wrist, she was able to create inanimate beings using the Drawing Technique having further trained under Ketsugo Uzumaki to master the art of Ink she however failed to naturally produce it like her Father but did however expand on her own method to use Ink in pre-existing formulas as well as drawing on her arm - Sumiko is able to use this technique with tandem with her own Fuinjutsu seals to create animated Fuinjutsu seals.
During the ages of 14-17 Sumiko had studied medical anatomy and medical practice, she had awoken the Uzumaki power known as Healing Bite
By the time Sumiko had reached the age of 18 she was a perfect doctor and surgeon - Having saved the lives of many on the operating table and on the field, thanks to the advanced teachings of the Uzumaki she was able to cut down the learning curve from most villages by 25% essentially 2 years.
Many years would pass and it was revealed to her that the Uzumaki Clan is declining in pureblood numbers and her Father had arranged a marriage for her to Tentai. While there is no true love involved the two decided for the future of the Uzumaki Clan the two would pair in marriage.

Appearance[]
Sumiko has the traditional Uzumaki red hair, shortened to avoid it getting in her face while operating, she usually wears a black lab coat with red strips each side that connect the coat together with a magnet strong enough to hold the two fronts together.
Under her lab coat she wears a traditional blue turtleneck with a single tip from top to bottom, the turtleneck is in memory of her Father's shirt, below she wears a black pair of pants with two pockets on each side, connecting to her hip is a pouch used for containing her tools, rarely seen wearing make up, she has naturally perky lips and the signature red stripe from her chin to her lower lip, traditionally wearing heels in a deep shade of blue, she wears the Uzumaki sigil on her back with pride.

Sumiko found her passion for medical Ninjutsu when she had awoken the power of Heal Bite she found herself with the desire to protect her friends with her new found powers, with many missions and training sessions gone by Sumiko found herself slotted into the role of Medic, to pursue her passion she delved into the academy and began to expand on her healing capabilities and how to best utilise her awakened powers
Being a proficient doctor Sumiko had mastered the basic arts of Iryojutsu capable of utalising techniques such as Poison Extractions with ease, techniques like these come easy to Sumiko. Her proficiency in chakra control contributes to this as techniques such as Chakra Scalpel can be used with the perfect amount of chakra to conduct her surgeries.
What makes Sumiko so dangerous is her ease of surgical methods to combat, using techniques such as Body Pathway Derangement by simply channelling her chakra into certain spots and flipping a switch.
Sumiko being a master of medical ninjutsu and surgeries doesn't help but come with its own problems, with her healing prowess being at a highly potent level she will in some cases need to lower her own chakra output to avoid damaging tissue or breaking bones as well as in some cases Sumiko may need to research other methods of healing should the subject's body and chakra reject her own utilising new methods according to different situations, creating a second link between her chakra transfer is but one possible outcome to many arising problems.
Sumiko is able to repair broken bones under the condition they're fresh (with the day) not instantly with intensive care and precise healing she can even mend Fractured bones like they're but a simple flesh wound.
Fuinjutsu[]
Although Sumiko wasn't meant for combat, she mastered the ability to seal countless items, including pre-existing ink, into her seals. Unlike her father, she didn't inherit the natural production of ink. Nevertheless, her expertise in the fundamental techniques of sealing and unsealing makes her formidable in preparing traps and employing tactical manoeuvres
Sumiko uses pre-existing ink to draw formulas, which then become physical seals. Unlike typical seals, hers can materialize and be used as weapons if needed. Some say her technique is comparable to Sai's Painting Jutsu.
Alot of Sumiko's tools are sealed away making her a natural user of The Unsealing Technique and Enclosing Technique
Life Force[]
Sumiko's life force was expected to be vast due to her being related to the Uzumaki Clan and in how potent her lineage is. She was capable of enduring countless wounds and near-death moments; so much that she could survive even being bisected like one of the Legendary Sannin, Tsunade. She also inherited the massive stamina, resilence and vitality to bestow her patient through the medical ninjutsu if wished. Through the heal bite she was also capable of bestowing a portion of her life force to people who were at brink of dying with their life span being exhausted.
Sumiko's life force isn't limited to solely the ability to increase her own natural healing - but to increase the healing of others when Sumiko taps into the natural ability of Heal bite shes able to amplify her healing of others at the cost of her own life force increasing the effectiveness of her healing by double, a heavy cost as she'd lose that expended life force for good.
Much like the Uzumaki before her - Sumiko is able to channel her chakra into a unyielding rage boasting a terrifying aura and menacing glare.
Chakra Control[]
Like Yin to Yang, Sumiko's mastery in chakra control came from her constant exposure to healing others with the Heal bite. This made it pivotal for her to regulate and control her chakra during each exchange. Over time, she learned to maintain longer healing sessions without feeling exhausted, with her control improving with each use of her powers.
Motivated by her goal to become a medic and heal the people she cherishes, Sumiko dedicated herself to training her chakra control. She enrolled in the Academy for Medics, where she studied diligently, trained rigorously, and participated actively as a medic until she achieved mastery in her field.
As a master medic, Sumiko possessed total authority over her chakra and chakra network, enabling her to perform countless medical ninjutsu, all of which require intensive chakra control. This exceptional control allowed her to use the Heal Bite Technique more effectively than Karin Uzumaki. Sumiko could preserve as much chakra as possible when performing the heal bite on a patient, maximizing the efficiency and impact of the technique.
Sumiko is capable of transferring chakra using the Chakra Transfer Technique with such precision that she can align the transferred chakra with the recipient's chakra network, resulting in maximized healing.

Tentai Uzumaki and Sumiko are engaged and are due to hold their engagement soon, when they had first met she thought he was rude, cruel and horrific to co-parent with - however much to Sumiko's surprise he is quite the hopeless romantic at times often swooning her off her feet with kind gestures when Sumiko has been seen to be upset often consoling her or buying some flowers for her to quickly cheer her up. in reality she didn't know if he was being genuine.
however she views Tentai as a true partner that she could spend her life with.
Ketsugo Uzumaki
Ketsugo Uzumaki is her Father, she adores her father and follows his word like its the law - She has grown up by her Father's side learning from him, watching him and observing him as he trains, fights and writes often joining in with the writing herself thinking she was helping as a child but was in fact making it more awkward for him to write often times knocking over his ink or jolting his hand.
As she grew older she learned all of her father's philosophical values what he represents, what he loves, what he wishes to protect, how he would protect them, how he would create peace, how he would build Uzushiogakure to its peak. All rests firmly in her mind.
Shinsuke Uzumaki
Shinsuke Uzumaki is Sumiko's younger half-brother, however Sumiko always refers to him as her brother because using the word "half" or "step" implies its not real and Shinsuke is a real brother to her, she enjoys playing pranks on him when hes in a spot of bother to help elevate his mood, she is often seen correcting his spelling and writing and should he desire knowledge on medical techniques she'd gladly help him.
Shinsuke is her precious little brother she'd always strive to protect from harms way should she be in a position to do so.
