Suzaku (朱雀, Suzaku) is a descendant of the Yōhi clan. He is a myth of sorts, hailed as the Fire Sage (火の仙, "Hi no Sennin") for his wondrous wisdom and sagely power. Long recognized as possessing stupendous control over so-called inextinguishable flames, he alone is called Suzaku of the Demon Flames (鬼の炎の朱雀, "Onihonō no Suzaku", English TV; "Suzaku of the Ogre Flames"). Suzaku, born in the Land of Bamboo (竹の国, "Take no Kuni", English TV; "Bamboo Country"), has extensively traveled the globe as a nomad to learn from the wise-men and sages, amassing great wealth and knowledge while becoming folklore to even the most respected of warriors. The man is a surgeon of remarkable repute, credited with the mystical gift to concoct cures to any illness and restore the health of any patient—some even believe he does not exist.
Despite his psychotic nature, Suzaku is a clever guru of sorts, noted for his wise-sayings and prudent tongue. He—along with two others—are one of the Sansen (三仙人, "Three Hermits" VIZ; "Three Sages"). After the establishment of hidden villages the sage became a resident of the Land of Fire and would eventually go on to become the Tenth Hokage (十四目火影, "Jūyondaime Hokage" or "Fourteenth Fire Shadow") and create the FLAME (火炎, "Kaen", English TV; "Fire Operatives"), a covert organization under his leadership.
Background
Born at a time of social change and great calamity, Suzaku came into the world under much historical movement. The unprecedented shock of war and natural disasters made life very difficult for the people of the Land of Bamboo (竹の国, "Take no Kuni", English TV; "Bamboo Country"). Earthquakes and droughts caused famine and conflict, leading to distress from one corner of the country to the next. In the Yanagi Village (柳の里, "Yanagi no Sato", English TV; "Village of Willow Trees") and the surrounding land, a large magnitude quake leveled hundreds of houses and resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands. Mountains of corpses lined the cities and group burial ditches were dug all throughout the land. It was truly a calamitous time. These things took place on a distant continent, centuries before even the Warring States Period (戦国時代, "Sengoku Jidai", English TV; "Clan Wars Era") began and would last for many decades.
During this time an infant Suzaku was found in a bamboo grove crying; his parents had both died of starvation with he in their arms. Countless walked pass the scene and did nothing, mostly because they could offer no help. Day after day Suzaku lay there among the corpse of his parents. In the heat of day and cold ran at night his cries never ceased. One day an old man traveling through the Yanagi Village came across the site of the malnourished baby, perplexed as to why he had survived for so long in such unfortunate conditions—other than the natural elements, he was surrounding by rotting flesh, maggots and flies. Even the wild animals did not come by to eat him. Intrigued, the man named Chakki picked the child up and took him along. Chakki was a wandering guru and doctor of the region; he had been traveling about to bless and heal the people of the land.
He would raise Suzaku as his own. As time went on it was clear that Suzaku was a child of great vitality and life. Suzaku grew much quicker than the children around him and could weather the storms of those time. He rarely was truck with illness and when he was overcame it quickly. These things caused Chakki to wonder where the child had come from and from where his lineage originated.
As time went on the man taught the boy all he knew about spiritual matters, the world and his profession—he became a son.
Eventually, Chakki too would grow weak with disease and die, leaving Suzaku alone again at the age of 7 years old. He would become an indignant child, angry at the world, stealing scraps of food to survive and begging on the streets. Those of the Yanagi Village grew to hate Suzaku and began to call him the derogatory term Demon Child (悪魔の子, "Akuma no Ko", English TV; "Demon Possessed Boy") due to his red hair and permanent grimace. It didn't matter how hungry he got, how beat up he was, he always seemed to survive, leading people further to believe that he was from Hell. Those of his clan, the Yohi, were known to be temperamental and were disliked by those who they lived with anyway. Upon hearing about this boy, members of the Yohi clan came to find him. He would join their oppressive cult, being indoctrinated with the clan's beliefs and piety for fire. Clan members are devoted and radical worshipers of Agni (火事, "Kagi", English TV; "God of Fire"). He himself would become a Fire Acolyte (火集団, "Hishūdan", English TV; "Disciple of the Flame" or "Fire Cultist")at a rather young age and quickly began sacrificing to Agni which often times required human offerings. Because of these practices those of the Yōhi clan are incredibly superstitious and believe highly in divine providence. They believe that those killed by their fire are offerings to Agni and that Agni is pleased with such veneration. Before and after killing a person he will often-times pray for success and appeasement, leading many to believe that he is a religious fanatic and insane, both of which are partly true.
Upon seeing his childhood friend beaten by those of the clan, Suzaku escaped the Bamboo Country at the age of 11. Falsely remembering the details of his parents, Suzaku later learned that his parents did not die from natural causes, but died while on a mission. Suzaku entered Konohagakure as a transfer student and not been easily welcomed in the village. Every day Suzaku accumulated hate toward the shinobi world as he was never told the truth about how his parents died and who was responsible. The Fire Demon eventually came to the conclusion that his parents were too weak and were unable to live freely within this world, heavily suggesting that the strong can torment the pain in this world, while others pass over to the other side to live in a world where one’s spirit cannot feel pain or become in a state of sadness. This belief left him to abandon the title of Hokage, as he hopelessly believed people were meant to die and were not meant to be alive in their frail human bodies. Though this belief hasn’t completely faded his study of other religions and beliefs, prompted him to subtly change his ways. His rivalry with Ketsugo Uzumaki and Yozu Uchiha challenged him to become stronger, as he felt they were destined to live in this world. If not for his love for Yozu, Suzaku would have not modified his beliefs, letting innocent die from enemies or natural disasters as he stood by and watch. Not wanting to lose her love, Suzaku continues doing heroic deeds in one way or another.
In modern times Suzaku is a family man and has many connections throughout the world. His most loved ones, however, reside in Konohagakure.
Personality
Since his early childhood, Suzaku was very independent and self-confident, at times even appearing arrogant and condescending. Despite that, Suzaku was very perceptive and intuitive, quickly realizing the situation for what it was. After his parent’s death, Suzaku became more stern, aloof, and cold toward others. A deemed dishonorable shinobi, accolades and completing missions were seen as more important than a shinobi’s life. Being on seven different teams by the age of fifteen, all of his teammates were either killed or severely injured not having the physical capabilities to continue as shinobis. All throughout this tragic loss, Suzaku ain’t morn not one of his teammates, only being praised for completing missions and protecting the secrets of the Hidden Leaf Village. Even since young, Suzaku seemed to full of sense allowing him to see and hear everything, though not acknowledging such information so people could assume he knew nothing. A kid who was graced with sagacious and mass knowledge, the red-eyed Uzumaki was always well informed.
A man with an enormous and fiery temper, Suzaku is one of the few people in the world to enrage. When reaching his boiling point, the man’s chakra and body can reach anywhere from 150 degrees Fahrenheit to 2,140 degrees Fahrenheit. Depending on the severity of the issue, this can cause him to reach a temperature to either cause those close to him to have third degrees burns or even completely obliterate you. With his anger posing much of threat similar to a tailed beast, those close to him do whatever it takes to keep him calm, knowing the immense destruction he can cause simply being ticked off.
Appearance
Worn comfortably around his neck are the Divine Beads (神聖ビーズ首飾り, "Shinsei Bīzu Kubikazari", English TV; "'Sacred Bead Necklace"), special black weights that he has worn for more than a decade. Around his waist is the pale-hued Sash of Subjugation (帯の討伐, "Obi no Tōbatsu", English TV; "Suppression Cloth"), a magical item he refuses to divulge how and when he acquired it. Both of these artifacts complement the dried red haori that sports long sleeves and reaches down to his calves. There are two thick trims of a darkened plum red in the middle of the haori, the jacket being designed to remain open to show his exposed, brawny chest. On his back is a white circle that has a black outlining to it with the kanji for sake (酒) plastered in the center. Suzaku's pants are an off-white eggshell color that exposes his ankles and has no front of back pockets.
Suzaku has an attractive golden tan, mostly because he spends time in warmer climates but also because of his genetics.
Suzaku Fullbody Outfit
On his feet, he is usually seen wearing plain black sandals with hidden blades at the bottom. The sage stands at 6 feet 3 inches and is noted for his impressive stature. He is a proud individual who holds his head of vermilion colored hair high. His hair reaches just above his rear and is cut straight at the ends. He has bangs that run along each side of his face while a flip of hair rests on the left side. Matching with Suzaku's hair color is his fiery eyes that are in the likeness of most members of his clan. Underneath his right eye, he wears the coming-of-age face paint that those of his kin use upon becoming a man. Plastered on the man's forehead is a large crescent-shaped moon that appears in a dried grape color. The canines of his teeth, particularly when shown, are much sharper than a regular man would be, making him look something like an animal or a demon as the rumors suggest. Suzaku sports a large shinobi pouch under his jacket. Hidden in the archives of his jacket are also tools and weapons that can be manipulated should he see fit; wrapped around his wrists are always specialized wires that are nigh invisible and can be manipulated on a whim in mid-combat to attack or subdue a foe. Sometimes Suzaku is seen wearing a twenty-four karat gold ring with a ruby red stone in the center of it. It is a memento from his father.
Tools
A frequent migrator, Suzaku collected many mythical tools throughout his life-time. Possessing great knowledge and a historian of sorts, Suzaku researched the legendary tools that once were equipped by his descendants of both the Uzumaki and Yohi clan, retrieving them and spending half of his life mastering them in purpose of using them in the heat of battle.
Chakra and Attributes
Chakra
Suzaku posses a unique chakra-type known as Fire Chakra(火チャクラ, "Hi Chakura", English TV; "Fire Energy", or "Red Aura"),the special reddish colored power of the Yōhi clan that is the source of his kekkei genkai and exceptionally hot flames.
Chakra Reserves and Chakra Control
When people speak of him, they often mention his "sea of chakra (チャクラの海, "chakura no umi", or "chakra pool")", a term that has become synonymous with such a mountainous reservoir. This muscular chakra is difficult to deny because of its weight and potency. The most basic of techniques become dangerous in the hands of such an aura that rivals the might of the tailed beasts, granted as a result of his life force. A testament to the power of this chakra is the amount of high-level jutsu performed on the battlefield, one after another. Should he decide to use a c-rank technique, it would immediately be lifted a level as a result of this latent power. Although his highly developed chakra pathways system is a result of decades of conditioning and arduous training in laboratories, his reserves are inherited via his bloodline. Even still, the amount of chakra he possesses is still elephantine. As a physician on the battlefield, Suzaku does not simply repair the ailments of the countless injured—he resuscitates and sustains them by refilling their chakra reserves, all with some left to spare for his own ventures. When its shared with others, all note their growth in strength, competence and overall ability soon after.
Although his reserves are mammoth in proportion, he does not boast a bottomless pit. Medical techniques require unquestionable portions and as such he has developed various methods to recuperating what is lost. As a test subject to his parents, Suzaku's body was altered in ways very few know. When his body is under intense stress it activates specialized enzymes which immediately prompt his organs to produce chakra. An enzyme is a substance produced by a living organism that acts as a catalyst to bring about a specific biochemical reaction. The side effects, however, include damage organs, eventual fatigue and a a delayed response to healing both natural and mystical.
Life Force & Willpower
With his life force constantly being consumed, Suzaku curses his fate. Still, he possesses a will and life energy that allows him to take considerable blows like losing limbs and large quantities of blood, without succumbing immediately. This should give him enough time to administer healing or rely on the assistance of his comrades for such.
Through the application of heat chakra to an area exposed to damage, Suzaku can replenish his health with relative quickness, though this requires a great deal of stamina to do so—stamina that is already being siphoned. When his regeneration is taking place, steam rushes from the injuries. He calls this Jikō (自己医, "Self Healing", English TV; "Regenerative Power").

Sensory
Conventional methods of perception have never been the Hokage's forte; he has always resorted to unorthodox practices to circumvent his shortcomings. Other than having an exceptional visual acuity, some have observed him in use of very dexterous perceptive abilities in all his natural senses, the most impressive of which is his nose. Instead of being able to sense chakra like perception-types often do, he learned at a young age to instead smell it! Suzaku picked up this detection method through his rustling with the wild pigs and mountain people. He can even discern a specific person's chakra scent, sometimes relating it to certain familial or national connection. This cognizance is so acute that otherwise hidden or scarce scents can all be ascertained in but a whiff. Like basic chakra sensory, Suzaku can opt in or out of this enhanced perception, choosing when to activate the augmentation. Much like a pig, he possesses an impressive range with. Additionally, Suzaku can use the Fortune Telling Technique (天源の術, "Tengen no Jutsu", English TV; "Divination Jutsu") with any surface as a medium.
Intelligence & Hand Seals
There is a reason why many call Suzaku a mad scientist—his ability to process, concentrate on and use information seems to be at a higher capacity than those of his own species! As a result, he has become an iconic figure in science and medicine. If it isn't memorization or mental calculations, he has shown his colors in both the laboratory and battlefield. The chemical arrangement of elements and their bonds have become as elementary to him as the alphabet to a grown adult. He can deduce the contents of a poison or drug based upon scattered details and come up with an antidote just as quickly. As a field doctor he would use these deductive skills and computer-like memory to strategist on the battlefield. It is essential that a medical-ninja be able to evade attacks and heal; by observing his opponent, he can determine their combat patterns and anticipate their movements in order to remain elusive. This is why he is accustomed to using clone techniques and substitutions so as to deceive a person with misdirection in order to escape or counterattack.
Although he could, it is not his favored option to wits to win a conflict. He would much more prefer brute strength during battle, sometimes even pretending to be dead in order to rise and strike a finishing blow on his opponent; a happy medium between the two polar strategies. These same strategies often time move him to set traps in mid-battle to ensnare an enemy or lead them to harm themselves with their own jutsu, a fashion he enjoys to watch as though it were entertainment. As a surgeon it is more than a necessity for him to be as observant as he can possibly be; noting the color of a person's skin, their pattern of speech, various symptoms or even their mannerisms all come into play when diagnosing or prescribing someone. That is why the simplest of movements cannot escape his gaze; he knows the inner-workings of the mind and body and cannot be fooled by quickness or cloak and dagger movements. When all else fails, Suzaku will come up with a series of tactics that may or may not work and predict the probability of their success, subsequently going with the strategy ranking highest. He is no doubt among the most superior minds alive and is not ignorant of this fact. The man, like many in the Land of Fire, has an indomitable will, so much so that had he been killed and resurrected using the dreadful, forbidden jutsu, he could resist his summoner's control.
Speed & Stamina
For someone like Suzaku it is no surprise that he is quick on his feet; his hot temper and brisk mouth would make it questionable if he weren't. Still, he was much quicker in his prime, traversing battlefields in a blink to dismantle opponents and rejuvenate the health of allies. Training with weights attached to his arms and legs while running beneath the water in a heavy current river helped with this, giving him the upper-hand in his youth. His intense training would continue into adulthood; the weighted necklace he wears hinders his speed considerably but even without the weights he moves at the speed of a standard Body Flicker Technique at base—should he remove the mystical beads, his speed would increase several times over. Although he has the stamina and physique of a conditioned man in his prime, Suzaku's stamina is constantly being absorbed by the jujutsu of his clan, a curse that requires a sacrifice of a portion of his own power at all times.
Suzaku also possesses the peculiar ability to absorb kinetic energy—the energy of motion. When near a body that possesses motion, he can siphon that energy from them, increasing his speed and decreasing the speed of the thing he is stealing from. It is important that he release the kinetic energy however and not allow it to build up or he could risk dangerous consequences. This ability is known as Fire Release: Akukachū Technique (火遁・悪虫の術, "Katon: Akukachū no Jutsu", English TV; "Fire Style: "Parasitic Feeding Fire Jutsu" Or; "Evil Fire Bug Technique") and it is exclusive to the sage himself.
Strength & Durability
When one thinks of Suzaku they often remember his mythical flames; seldom do they recall the fact that he can lift objects several times his height and crush metallic objects on a whim. This natural, innate strength is the result of the ceremonial agreement with a spirit who siphons off of the stamina and life force of the man, in return granting him a wondrous physical capacity that he has enjoyed since birth. With a single finger he can cause chasm to open in the earth and by a strike of his foot send tremors throughout the vicinity. This strength is so undeniable that he at all times must remain in control of himself in fear or unleashing an unnecessary amount of force; rarely does Suzaku ever truly flex his muscles in a display of strength.
With such a capacity comes an equal durability; his skin has been likened to the ore found on mountains. Despite this, with enough force he can still be struck or caused to bleed. The less stamina he possesses, however, the less durable he comes and the more his strength begins to wan. As a result Suzaku is, when in control of his emotions, reserved in combat.

Jutsu
Taijutsu & Bukijutsu
Aside from his adroit fire-spitting powers, Suzaku takes pride in his close quarter combat abilities. Before one can perceive what has taken place his hands, arms, feet and legs have made quick work, making their way around and about to deal damage blows right under a person's nose. He is well-verse in several forms of taijutsu which make him effective against a number of characters and adaptive against unconventional tactics. The intense training he underwent as a child assists with this, especially seeing as his conditioning through cult beatings and starvation toughened him, something he could not have perceived at the time. This same sort of know-how comes into play when he uses tools and weapons as well; years upon years of war and conflict have given him experience with all sorts of items and even if one should be foreign he is never too old to learn at a quick pace. Suzaku can twist, bend and manipulate shuriken, kunai and wires using simple gestures, changing the course and intent on very short notice. He has also been seen doing this with chains, even combining his chains with the Shadow Clone Technique for a ferocious combination. Like few others, the man has learned to determine his center of gravity at any moment in order to allow him to fight in mid-air or in turbulent conditions. Even darkness is not enough to fully perturb his honed senses and determination. Couple these with his strength and speed and Suzaku is a formidable foe.
The Fire Method (火歩, "Hihō", English TV; Fire Step", "Dance of the Fire Foot", or "Ancient Art of the Majestic Flame") is an ancient form of combat crafted by the wise and aged sages of the Yohi clan. It is unique in that it uses body gestures and breathing exercises to direct fire through and out of the body at quick and unpredictable speeds.
Bojutsu and Kenjutsu
Ninjutsu
When one has lived as long as he they are expected to be well-versed in a plethora of techniques—the guru is no different. He has mastered ninja techniques to a fine point, so-much-so that he is capable of using the maximum strength of a jutsu with the minimum chakra required. When the man uses a technique similar or altogether the same as an opponent, it is often seen that his possess more verve and power. An example would be his use of the Shadow Clone Technique; Suzaku's clones do not dissipate after several strikes and need a killing blow in order to dispel. He can also summon forth clones at a distance from himself as opposed to right next to him. This in itself is an impressive feat. Suzaku has also mastered four of the five nature releases, excluding suiton. Because of this he knows how to effectively counter other releases and has developed countless jutsu to circumvent tough spots on the battlefield. His use of ninjutsu also falls into Barrier Ninjutsu and Cooperation Ninjutsu but, probably most importantly, Contemporaneous Ninjutsu (同時の術, "Dōji no Jutsu", English TV; "Simultaneous Techniques"). This is a special form of technique he created where he can combine two or more completely different jutsu into one for immediate use under the nose of the opponent.
In addition to his impressive command of jutsu as a result of his chakra control and experience, Suzaku has also received tutelage from the wild boars and pig sages of Mount Taruko. They've taught him to have an insatiable thirst and hunger for chakra, desiring to eat it up as though it were a buffet. As a result he can using the Chakra Absorption Technique (チャクラ吸引術, "Chakura Kyūin Jutsu") like nobody's business, allowing his body to eat away at a person's chakra with indefatigable aggressiveness, similarly to a pig before a meal. In a like manner he can also use the Chakra Transfer Technique (チャクラ転送術, "Chakura Tensō Jutsu") to do the exact opposite.
Genjutsu
Although he is one to admit that "Genjutsu is not my forte... but...", Suzaku is not a novice when it comes to this art; he can identify illusions even if they are stacked upon other ones and dispel them using his own chakra. At the same time he is capable of using higher level ranked genjutsu and should he do so in unison with another person or thing, has dealt damaging and sometimes debilitating consequences to his victims, mostly through the infusion of yin with his fire.
Fūinjutsu
Few people can use sealing techniques at a truly high caliber; Suzaku is such a man. If need be he can formulate a formula on the spot, though it would require more simple mechanics. He has nearly mastered the art of his clan which affords him seals that are incredibly difficult to decipher but can be written in his flames or upon objects or other things in the purview. In his youth Suzaku learned to add an odd or even number to a noticed seal in order to unravel its mechanics and power.
Moon Seal (月の印, "Tsuki no In", English TV; "Third Eye Mark", Viz; "Crescent Moon Symbol") A seal which is reputed to be the pinnacle of chakra control, chakra absorption and chakra transfer. Over a period of time the user of this crescent seal absorbs chakra from themselves and a proportionate amount of nature energy from the space around them to archive it into a specific point on their body—the forehead.
Iryojutsu
The Yōgan, a unique dojutsu of the Yohi Clan, possesses a remarkable ability to manipulate heat within its vicinity. This extraordinary power allows its wielder to absorb and control heat, leading to various applications in both combat and medical fields.
One of the most striking applications of the Yōgan is its capacity to freeze opponents and objects. By absorbing the heat from the surroundings, the Yōgan can rapidly lower the temperature, causing moisture in the air to freeze and creating icy conditions. This ability can be employed both defensively and offensively. For instance, it can be used to encase adversaries in ice, immobilizing them and rendering them vulnerable to further attacks. Alternatively, it can be utilized to create barriers of ice for protection.
In Suzaku's role as a medical ninja, the Yōgan takes on a different but equally vital role. He leverages this dojutsu to extinguish flames and treat burning wounds. By absorbing the heat from a burning area, the Yōgan can snuff out fires swiftly, preventing further damage. Additionally, it can be employed to cool and soothe burns, reducing pain and promoting the healing process. Suzaku's mastery of the Yōgan allows him to provide exceptional medical care, particularly in cases involving fire-related injuries.
The Yōgan's dual-purpose nature, with its ability to freeze and control heat, makes it an invaluable asset for both combat and medical scenarios, underscoring its significance within the Yohi Clan and Suzaku's repertoire of skills.
Kekkei Genkai
The Yōhi clan (豪火一族, Yōhi Ichizoku) a fearsome clan with the unique ability to transform their bodies into fire at will. Often referred to as "Devils" due to their super-hot flames, which consist of both Fire Release and Yang chakra infused into every cell, they are a force to be reckoned with. Centuries ago, the clan's incredible powers and hostile nature led to them being restricted to holding the position of Fire Man within Konohagakure. Over time, the clan mysteriously dwindled in numbers, with only a handful of members remaining. Suzaku stands out as the last natural-born Yōhi Clan member, a testament to his exceptional and unparalleled power.
The Yōgan is the lesser-known dōjutsu kekkei genkai of the Yōhi clan that appears selectively among its members. According to legend, it is supposedly a mutation of a power originating from another dimension, giving its wielder the ability to control the surrounding temperature, which can extinguish fire/heat based techniques. Suzaku's dojutsu can envelop a person's body in heat, resulting in them developing heat syncope, which can subdue them and cause dizziness. The amount of chakra control is ridiculously hard even for a medical ninja and cannot be used while in conjunction with other techniques.

Space—Time Ninjutsu:
Certainly one of the man's favored forms of combat, the space—time continuum is no foreign place to the fire demon; his mastery is so unique that he has created his own space entirely, one that is a blank canvas for his own painting. One of his own unique abilities is the Secret Technique: Ghost Sear Fire Apparition Technique (秘伝術・幽霊サーチ火の出現の術, "Hiden Jutsu: Yūreisāchi Hi no Shutsugen", English TV; "Hidden Jutsu: Ghost Search Fire Emergence Jutsu"), a jutsu which allows him to use fire as a medium for teleportation. Suzaku can often tell when these forms of ninjutsu are being used and has created methods to gaining access to other people's worlds, though this requires considerable chakra as most regarding the continuum do. He will also use space—time ninjutsu in mid combat to redirect an opponent's attack behind them or at a blind-spot. If he is working in cooperation with his pigs, he can have himself or them reversed summoned in order to evade an assault. As a result of his aptitude in both sealing techniques and space—time techniques, Suzaku can create a Reverse Summoning Seal wherever his chakra might touch, allowing him to summon forth things like clones or tools should he need to. When utilizing his Solar Release release kekkei genkai, Suzaku can enter a state of light speed, causing his body to split into subatomic particles in the process. The particles then surpass the speed of light, allowing them to go a few seconds back in time to the point before Suzaku's body broke apart. As a result, Suzaku's body is re-materialized safely due to his life-force and mastery in medical ninjutsu. When using this technique, it is reported to be very taxing on the body and
Senjutsu (Not Achieved Yet)
Suzaku is a master sage who has learned to incorporate nature energy in most if not all of his other abilities. He can gather nature chakra with relative ease and when he is unable to effectively, the man relies on his animal companions to do so. At a young age in the cult he grew up in, it was customary for ones to believe that the sun was god; cult members basked in the sunlight, absorbing its warmth for what they believed to be power. Later on in life while traveling to learn from the wise-men and mountain sages, Suzaku learned to believe the natural world to be nothing more than an extension of himself, allowing him to easily locate nature energy to absorb, especially if it should come from the sun above.

Suzaku Summoning Contract
As the possessor of the hog agreement, the guru needn't seals to call forth his companions; a single one or a legion are all but a few gestures away. In the same token many of them can request him as well. Through the use of a blood contract seal, Suzaku and his swine familiars have an internal connection, one not easily severed. Suzaku can also summon the pig statues of those who have failed to become sages, often using them as shields against powerful attacks.
Butatsuno (豚角, Butatsuno), more commonly known as the Pig King (豚の王, "Buta no Ō", English TV; "Chief of the Hogs") or Tsuno (角, "Horn"), is one of the leaders and most respected pigs of all the inhabitants of Mount Tārukō (タール鉱山, "Tar Pit Mountain", English TV; "Mountain of Tar Mines"), also known as the Land of Pigs (豚の国, Buta no Kuni, English TV; "Pig Country"). He is renown for his massive, portly figure which makes him one of the largest—if not the largest—creatures to walk the earth. Incredibly powerful and equally as rambunctious, Butatsuno is difficult to tame and even more difficult to face in combat, though he can be baited with the promise of a buffet. Despite his not being of the same species, many people respect Butatsuno and have learned stories of his fatty body, proud attitude and insatiable appetite. In the past, Butatsuno has even encountered and faced several of the tailed beasts, some of which he successfully bested in combat

- - Suzaku was initially created using elements from the original bio crafted by Michael Madlock. Subsequently, the character was acquired and is now under the ownership of Chinoike Isamu. In my capacity as Chinoike Isamu, I hold exclusive rights to all aspects of the character, including the name, artwork, and all associated elements.*-
- -Originally, Suzaku was associated with the Goka clan. However, as I do not have ownership of the Goka clan but only of the character itself, I decided to transform him into a member of the Yōhi clan. The Yōhi clan is a custom clan that I created, and it's now the official clan affiliation for Suzaku, who is portrayed by myself, ChinoikeIsamu, also known as J.G. This change was made to better align the character with my creative vision and available resources.
