Tang(玄奘三蔵, Genjo ), most commonly referred to as the Master Monk of Penglai (蓬萊), the hidden paradise isle in the Usagi ocean. He is a wandering ascetic and religious teacher who spreads the word of his religion and the founder of the Penglai Monastery. He is the second practitioner of his religion, the way of the life wheel, the first was his master Guanyin. Guanyin’s doctrine offered a way to avoid despair. By following the “path” he taught, the individual can dispel the “ignorance” that perpetuates this suffering.

In the beginning, he was born in the land of lightning, now known as the cloud district, in the capital state of the nation, to noble parents of an unknown clan, but renounced his home life to live as a wandering ascetic. After leading a life of mendicancy, asceticism, and meditation, he attained enlightenment in the paradise isle Penglai, what is now the home of his monk order. Tang ironically through childhood lived in a massive palace through his family's riches with the best of everything within his grasp, the best status, clothing, food, dwelling and education. He didn’t leave this lifestyle until He was sent by the Daimyo on a political mission to the Tea District to fetch a set of old shinobi scriptures back to land for the purpose of increasing military power in his native land. Along this journey he met his teacher, Master Guanyin, the man that inspired his shift in goals and taught him martial arts, the concept of ninjutsu, the life wheel which he follows till this day. Guanyin believed that you had to be strong for those around you to be inspired, to follow you, so he put great emphasis on training Tang but focused on tempering it with a balance of compassion and understanding.

Before Master Guanyin, Tang was a young and eager noble who was diligent in becoming a great individual, his initial goals were to one day become the Raikage or at least a proud shinobi of the nation. His family refused to let him openly take on such a dangerous career but provided private tutors to quell the boy’s thirst without actually allowing him to be a shinobi. He had great difficulty with the subpar tutors he had to actually grasp the fundamentals that made a shinobi strong, ninjutsu was poor, genjutsu even worse, he suffered in all areas that mattered. He truly wanted to be recognized by his land despite his lack of skills and eventually he got an opportunity when tasked with a political mission from the Daimyo. His family agreed because he would have actual shinobi escort him to the destination and he was more than excited to even get a glimpse of actual ninja life. Of course this didn’t exactly go to plan, there were no happy endings for the escort group, being ambushed and killed in front of the young man. Tang would have joined them in the afterlife had Master Guanyin not showed up to be the hero of that young man’s story. It seems after the training with Guanyin and the monastery was founded Tang became an indifferent person, that even combat seemed dull to him. Of course despite trying to keep true to his teachings Tang isn't without emotion or humor, he'll purposely do things to rile someone up for his enjoyment or take the long route to teach a lesson if it's funny watching the person struggle before they ultimately learn what he is trying to teach. His flaws don't stop there, with his wisdom also comes perversion, a massive pervert to keep it simple. This is another thing hidden under the monk exterior but it plays a big part in his decision making and life.
𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞[]
Tang is an ordinary-looking dark skin bald man with a thin but well-built physique, tall for his height but average weight. He used to have a full head of short black hair but lost it due to the intensity of his training with Guanyin. Despite the monk trying to push him into simpler clothes, or plain clothes, Tang didn't like wearing a lot of them, figuring they were restrictive. As for plain he is something of a fashionista in the fact he likes to wear a lot of gold and silver, his tools complimenting this.

The six dots on Tang's head are both a symbol of his status as a monk and a seal that Guanyin placed to counter the usage of genjutsu against him, since genjutsu can be countered usually well when there is an outside force to help the target as the case with jinchuuriki. Guanyin wanted to replicate said feat albeit he was not so lucky as to have a tailed beast on his side, instead the seal activates when the chakra used to influence the brain comes in contact with Tang. Tang doesn't need to make a conscious effort at that point, the seal is already designed to break the genjutsu on its own. This was the last gift Guanyin gave Tang before his death, a way to protect his student and teachings.

In his younger years Tang had chakra instability, it never settled right and he had an even harder time control it, It proved to be an issue until he joined Guanyin on his journey, going on to train enough to have no issues molding and putting said chakra to use, his control of it refined though he himself admits that it was a hurdle when he was younger. Partially a reason why he chose to use taijutsu primarily because he couldn't afford the instability back then. Now as an adult while he has control of his chakra, he doesn't have large reserves, only able to perform simple things like augmenting his strength or increasing his already immense physical ability.

His greatest intent is formed After adopting the monk lifestyle, a strong mental force that has made his mind unbreakable like his body. That said thanks to his physiology and willpower, Tang is capable of exerting himself even if fatigued from using techniques that cost a lot of his energy or wounded. It showed best during his training with Guanyin, having his limbs broken and being mortally wounded then forced to move despite these handicaps. Of course his teacher made it known that if Tang didn't have the amazing recovery rate he did his training could have taken an entire lifetime instead of the few years he spent with the old man.
𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐝[]
Likely one of the fastest men of his era if not the fastest, though this reputation is actually rather hidden since Tang avoids showing off even in combat, purposely going slower. Tang is naturally a monster when it comes to being a quick individual, like crossing from land to land on foot within a matter of less than a second despite a large portion being separated by an ocean. in fact with his base speed at its max he can warp space around him. That of course aside It only seems right if a man trains to be quick that they should do the same to their reaction time and senses, impeccable is a word that can be used to the point he can be mistaken for having a dojutsu or eyes in the back of his head. Likewise reflexes matching it, able to track movement of his own caliber and not be disoriented by moving at the speeds he does.

Tang is a prodigy for taijutsu, creating his own fighting style, mastering many forms in a short amount of time, and is able to prepare ingenious strategies when it comes to fighting. On more than one occasion, he has defeated opponents he was no match for at first by using the correct tactics. In his training with Guanyin it was enforced that brute strength couldn't solve everything and that it had to be balanced out with an open flexible mind which Tang brought back with him in his travels. Tang opted out of the use of ninjutsu and with it hand seals, he knows all of them as general knowledge but does not use them being a taijutsu master first and everything else second.

Even as a child For the longest time, whatever he lacked in intelligence and the other fields of life, he'd made up for with his natural raw strength and nigh indestructible body. Like the Raikages of the past, sometimes begging the question if he was related in some fashion, Tang’s body is extremely durable and could be called invulnerable in some cases, surpassing even them. When sparing he has been knocked from a mountain several times, sent pummeling down about the same distance as a 50 foot skyscraper, landing on his back, and then getting up as if nothing had happened. Likewise handling the travel from the moon to earth with no issues, this includes the harms of space and re-entering the atmosphere, However, when he does receive damage, Tang’s pain tolerance is high enough that he can hide it relatively well. It seems this durability doesn't stop surface deep either, organs durable and powerful in the same sense. In fact his body is like a fortress in a way because toxins and aliments are destroyed before they can do real damage. For example he is able to breathe and fight in the stratosphere before further holding his breath just as long to travel from the moon to earth, bones powerful enough to support the leaping power needed to perform a jump that far. Tang's durability aside, his strength is his most powerful tool, seemingly limitless, clearly surpassing his ancestors, he is said to have strength that equaled, or perhaps even greater than an entire nation's modern military. He is strong enough to effortlessly break all Earthling-made materials or weapons, and move in increased gravity without any discomfort. In fact his strength is so great he can generate so much force from his punches alone that he could erase a person or create fire through the friction, simulate the power behind massive nuclear explosions and all while not even entirely serious. Since no enemies have posed any real challenge to him yet, the upper bound of his strength is even higher than it currently appears.

Tang has conditioned himself to the absolute peak of physical prowess by constantly challenging himself through various arduous training means. Even if he was in great pain, or could barely move, or vomited blood, he continued his training. This resulted in without the aid of chakra enhancements or augmentations of undeniable physical prowess that allowed him to perform various seemingly inhuman feats. More credit to his body, despite the amount of stress he put on it, he didn't hurt himself trying to get stronger, not to mention how quickly he bounced back after falling out or throughout this arduous training. The only noticeable sign that he ever had trouble is his hair loss but that could have happened regardless since it ran in his family. As stated above he does recover quickly but it takes time and rest to fully get back to hundred percent

Tang with his chakra instability issues had trouble with ninjutsu all his life, having to work twice as hard to perform the task put before him, even after learning to control his chakra from Guanyin by then it was too late to really get any real practices in any area outside of taijutsu, furthermore Guanyin while heavily knowledgeable saw Ninjutsu inspired unnecessary violence and saw martial arts as another means of master of self. He had to and still relies heavily on taijutsu, mastering it at a very young age and only growing stronger as time went on. After founding the monastery he has become a self proclaimed master of the martial arts. Tang has a mix of real world wing chun and the strong style of the narutoverse. Of course being as strong as he is he has a way to adapt to holding back so he doesn't kill a target he isn't intended to with those who aren't as lucky usually explode from one good precision strike. That said outside of using his hands he is skilled with nunchucks and bo staffs, tools trained on with Guanyin. Tang's nature transformation is Lightning Release but he doesn’t know it and has never used it. Later on in life he got skilled enough with ninjutsu by itself to perform the sexy technique for his perverted vices.

What might of been the reason for his unnatural power spikes when young and it's clear that Tang's rapid growth in power is far from anything human. His feats of strength or the fact he is able to quickly continue to get stronger was made clear to all his teachers early on Especially Guanyin. This bloodline limit didn't show fully until he joined the Guanyin or rather no one know how to unlock that hidden potential so it was shocking to everyone around him when only after a month of his training regiment he began showing the growth that he did, something his level of training shouldn't have allowed for. In short this allows Tang to grow in strength, speed, and durability with little to minimal effort at the first signs of adversity, yielding greater results depending on the challenge and seemingly with no limit on how much he can grow. It's more effective while he is in the middle of battle but training alone is just as fine.
